Description:   Corinthian cover tile with antefix, vertical sides broken. Top sloping surface of calypter 0.10 m. wide front face with vetical sides, knobs at top corners with projecting ovoid central knob on apex of calypter face. Mouldmade face. Horizontal concave band 0.012 m. wide at 0.029 from bottom of end face, chevron above, with third, top concave band forming top edge decoration of face, top band divided into two. End of each top band curls into spiral on face of end knob, other end curls into spiral at central knob, above which is trace of 7-leaf palmette impressed on knob. Triangular heart of palmette impressed between spirals and palmette leaves.
Decoration:   All of concave bands painted red, alternate leaves of palmette painted red, others starting at both sides are unpainted.
Material:   Buff Corinthian clay, not well compacted, mudston. Slipped surface.
Munsell Color:   5 YR 7/4 to 7.5YR 7.5/4
Condition:   Missing parts. Antefix complete, calypter behind broken at 0.22 from face.
