Description:   Antefix having moulding along bottom decorated with square bead with central hole alternating with single reel, above which spiralling tendril, deeply fluted, to rt. of which acanthus leaf along outer edge of antefix. In back trace of attachment to neck of cover tile.
Material:   Moderately coarse light yellow clay, fired pink at core, with many fine voids, coarse (to 3mm) red, black inclusions. Thin surface slip misfired and crackled.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (just below surface) 10YR 6/6 surface
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving lower right edge; broken in back.
