Title:   RIDGE PAN TILE OF OLD TEMPLE

Description:   Ridge pan cover tile with upper surface has been recut at the building site to ensure a proper joint with the adjoining cover. The concave pan is marked by a cental longitudinal ridge from which the surfaces recede on either side in shallow concave curves.
Decoration:   Slip on upper surface and edge.
Material:   Coarse clay with fine grits, slip on upper surface and edge.
Munsell Color:   Core: 5YR 7/4; Slip: 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserves most of length and three quarters of width of the pan element.
