Description: | Terracotta ridge palmette with eleven leaves. Scallops outline the palmette leaves with drooping tips. Similar to FR-62, FR-119, FR-121, and FR-125. | |
Decoration: | Two tendrils rise from bottom and end in volutes. Between the tendrils a lozenge. Palmette proper is above the volutes; eleven leaves spread out from arrow-head-shaped core. Light on dark with red on sides and in center of palmette. Inscribed lines serve as guide for painted decoration, though not closely followed. | |
Material: | Very pale brown clay with frequent medium spherical inclusions and numerous small voids | |
