Description:   Sima with flat plaque, decorated with head in high relief. Head in profile to rt., hair short, either tied by broad fillet, or wrapped in a smooth braid, ends of which overlap above rt. ear. Curls framing forehead and nape of neck; flatter locks rendered by grooves over crown. On plaque behind crown of head is start of something in relief.See Corinth I.iv pl. 39 for type. Poss. broken at lt. at edge of water spout. "Apollo".

Material:   Coarse light reddish yellow clay with 7-10% fine to medium red angular mudstone inclusions, frequent voids, fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving part of plaque to left of head, back of head from forehead back, right ear. Surface worn.
