Description:   Large-Scale lateral sima consisting of vertical panel, decorated in high relief with acanthus spray. Preserved are curling tendril to rt., and edge of second to lt. Appear to be same size. Coils of tendrils lightly concave. From between two hangs a long pointed bud on a long thin stem. Springing from top of rt. tendril is a smaller scroll, poss. leaf or bud to lt. of it. Rt. joint smooth. All surfaces slipped Note: Corinth IV.1 refers to $warped back$. Is simply normal curving back of sima.
Decoration:   Black paint on background, red on bud.
Material:   Coarse buff to light pinkish-buff clay with dense admixture of fine black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/3 surface
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving right joint, portion of panel; broken all other edges; relief chipped.
