Description:   Sima consisting of vertical plaque decorated in relief with acanthus spray: fluted stalk curving to rt., leaf flaring up at tip, spirally fluted stem curves downward; to either side a curling tendril consisting of two convex coils turning one. Deep groove above for start of corwning moulding. Rt. joint either pared or chipped.
Material:   Coarse clay with numerous fine black inclusions, fired to reddish tan (fresh chip) to brown at surface.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 5YR 5/6 (chip)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper part of right end, preserving top half of panel, broken at base of crowning moulding; right joint.
