Description:   Lateral sima with vertical plaque decorated in low relief with spiral curling to rt., consisting of thick flattened coil ending in solid eye. Petal of flower below coil. To rt. attachment for lion-head spout. Above crowning moulding consisting of ovolo with egg-dart in relief between 2 fillets. For type cf. FS-XXXX-171.
Decoration:   Streaky red paint applied to background of plaque. Coil slipped white.
Material:   Fine clay with occasional coarse inclusion, fired light buff at back, pink at core.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 10YR 7/3 (back)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper part of panel and crowning moulding, upper left edge of spout, broken right and left.
