Description:   Terracotta sima with projecting bottom fascia 0.025 high, projection 0.013, surmounted by molded vertical face (P.H. 0.078). The molded face is decorated with a fluted acanthus stalk (likely to be curving outward from missing lionhead, and from which spring two volutes). Volute composed of two smooth coils, pendant poppy pod at left. Similar to architectural terracottas FS-1048 (Bookidis & Stroud 1997, Corinth 18.3, cat. 39), FS-130 (Thallon-Hill and King, Corinth 4.1, cat. S130), and FS-147 (Thallon-Hill and King, Corinth 4.1, cat. S147).
Material:   Coarse reddish yellow clay with frequent reddish yellow large platy inclusions, abundant small to medium reddish yellow and gray inclusions, and small spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   Core: 5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow); Surface: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken all around except at the bottom, showing as far up as the bottom of a spiral and part of acanthus. White slip poorly preserved.
