Description:   Sima with projecting bottom fascia, 0.025 high, surmounted by moulded vertical face, 0.097 preserved height. Moulded face decorated with a fluted stalk, curving around volute; volute of two smooth coils. Similar to FS-1048 (Bookidis & Stroud 1997, Corinth 18.3, cat. 39).
Decoration:   Blue paint preserved on fluted stalk and flat background of moulded, vertical surface; red paint preserved at bottom of moulded, vertical surface.
Material:   Coarse pink clay with abundant medium to very large platy reddish yellow inclusions, frequent small gray platy inclusions, and abundant small to very large platy voids,
Munsell Color:   Core: 7.5YR 7/4 (pink); Surface: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of bottom edge and broken on all edges; traces of cream slip, red and blue paint. Very fragile, very many chips missing.
