Exterior surfaces slipped, fired nearly an ochre, on which painted lotus palmette chain, pointed downward. Two-thirds of large black lotus with rounded petal-heart red-brown. Red-brown band at base of lotus with stalk curving off to right, to palmette with 2 rounded petals, red, black, preserved. Reserved heart. | |
