Description:   Raking sima with fascia at bottom, cyma reversa with full profile, crowned by narrower fascia. Top surface trimmed down at angle for front 00.035, back flat. Overlapping joint at rt. with front overlap incompletely preserved, back worked with anathyrosis. Pan tile flat.
Decoration:   Soffit: border 00.05 m. wide: faint bead-reel, reserved on black background, red border. Fascia: maeander type IIA with red around checkerboard. Cyma: largely eradicated anthemion with palmette and 5-petal lotus above tendril and loop, reserved on black ground. Fascia: egg-dart, reserved on red ground with black centers for eggs.
Material:   Coarse buff-tan clay with moderate amount of fine to coarse (to 8mm.) black mudstone inclusions. Fine slip.
Munsell Color:   Ca. 10YR 8/3 (core) 2.5YR 6/4 (slip)
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., preserving complete profile with part of pan tile, right joint, broken at left. Surface badly worn, part of crowning moulding broken away. Top blackened. Marks like plough on top of pan.
