Description:   Lateral sima with flat soffit, face angles back at ca. 10 degrees from vertical. On face fascia at base, cut to rt. by lion-head spout: several tufts of pointed name locks worked with gashes for hair. Bit of spout surface at rt. break.
Decoration:   Soffit: astragalos, reserved on black ground, W00.040, dark red border W00.033, Second lighter red border 00.016 at least. Fascia: maeander in black on reserved ground. Red on lion mane.
Material:   Coarse buff clay with dense amount of fine to coarse (to 5 mm.) black mudstone inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7.5/2.5
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., soffit, base moulding, bit of lion-head spout, broken either end, back, top.
