Description:   Megarian type sima with flat soffit, tall fascia (H00.077) broken at start of torus; preserved at upper break is partof surface from hollow interior of torus. Faces slipped.
Decoration:   Broad red-brown stripe W00.051 on soffit; fascia: lower half of reversible lotus-palmette chain, with 7-petal palmette reserved on black ground, with round heart, lotus with detached side petals, stamen continuous with stem and tendril which continues under palmette.
Material:   Coarse clay fired bright pink at core, yellow at surfaces, with dense amount fine to coarse (to 5mm.) red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Paler than 2.5YR 6/6 (core) Slightly grayer than ;;;2.5YR 7/5 (slip)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving soffit and lower half of sima face, broken at juncture with tile, either end.
