Description:   Light-on-Dark sima with base moulding (missing), deep cyma reversa profile, above which narrow cyma H00.019, narrow fascia H00.009, broad flat surface on top. At left part of overlapping surface of joint: cut back deeply behind a projecting tongue.
Decoration:   Decoration reserved on dark background now purplish in color. Main cyma: lotus-palmette chain, beginning with lotus at lt.: lotus has elongated leaves, not quite touching above palmette, long pointed central petal, no sepals at base. 11-petal palmette with rounded, slightly drooping petals, central petal rounded. Oval heart with dark center, tendril beneath making tight loop under lotus. Narrow cyma: leaf-dart: broad Lesbian leaf, outlined in dark paint, then reserved line, purplish center with reserved center; pointed reserved dart. Decoration of fascia unclear. Top and back thinly slipped. Cf. SF-XXXX-6 for more of same.
Material:   Coarse clay fired pale pinkish-gray at core. buff-yellow slip. Dense admixture of fine to coarse (to 4 mm.) red, black mudstone inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5Y 7/3.5
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper half of face, top left end; broken at right, below and back. Surface chipped.
