Description:   Sima consisting of vertical panel (base missing), P.H.00.155, above which bead-reel, fillet, ovolo with egg and dart in relief, outset fascia H00.015. Top flat; Smooth lt. joint, broken in back. Panel decorated with acanthus stalk, coarsely fluted vertically, from which spring two coiling tendrils, rendered by double fillets; from angle hangs spirally fluted bud with pointed tip, one acanthus leaf. Mouldings also plastic.
Material:   Moderately fine clay with scattered coarse gray (to 6mm.) inclusions, some fine white and 1 popped. Fired light pink at core, light grayish-yellow at surface.
Munsell Color:   5Y 7/3.5 surface
Condition:   Missing parts. Single frgt., broken at bottom, at juncture with tile; preserving complete profile for rest of face, lt. edge.
