Description:   Lionhead spout from lateral sima. Mane consists of single row of long locks, each with 2-3 deep grooves; finer tufts project from cheeks. Very low brow with row of dots along ridge, continuing down muzzle. Deeply set eye with row of dots for upper lid, raised eyeball with large deep hole for iris. For type cf. FS-XXXX-65, -66.
Material:   Hard-fired moderately coarse clay fired light red at core, yellow at surface, with scattered coarse (to 4mm.) white, black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 6/4 (surface) Redder than 5YR 6/6 (core)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving right side of mane, left eye and cheek. Surface chipped.
