Description:   Lionhead spout with single row of large long mane locks, each deeply grooved. Low brow with ridge broken away. Stippled upper lid, almond-shaped eyeball with deep hole for pupil. Deep incision sets off cheeks from muzzle. Square muzzle with incised whiskers. Squared teeth cut from each other, moulded plastically on sides. Mouth open but tongue broken away.
Material:   Light brown fine clay with few scattered coarse inclusions, fired to light pink at core.
Munsell Color:   10YR 6.5/3 to 10YR 6/4 (surface)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving right side of head from above eye to jaw, left side from cheek down; missing top and front of muzzle, tongue.
