Description:   Sima with flat undersurface, front face has fascia H00.041 at 87 degrees from undersurface. Outset cyma reversa, shallow cavetto crown H00.019m. At left end projecting overlapping tongue and anathyrosis.
Decoration:   All surfaces slipped except anathyrosis, on soffit 00.048-00.05 from edge. Decorated in light-on-dark: soffit: red band W00.022. Face: maeander-checkerboard on fascia; cyma: alternating anthemia-palmette chain, starting with half-anthemion at joint. 11-petal palmette, oval-tipped, drooping. Shovel-shaped reserved heart, reserved heart with red line on axis; anthemion has 5 pointed petals, 3 sepals edged with red. Tendril from palmette to palmette, loops under anthemion, enframing reversed teardrop. Cavetto: egg-dart on red field: darts reserved, eggs matt black with reserved edges, central reserved vein.
Material:   Coarse light buff clay, cream slip.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving left end of tile, complete profile; tongue partly broken, broken at right, missing part of fascia, crowning moulding.
