Description:   Flat undersurface striated. Face: fascia continuing without articulation into cyma reversa, cavetto crowning moulding. Top surface 00.086 wide with striated trimming along front edge. Back of sima cants outward at 14 degrees. Lt. side: anathyrosis with tongue behind largely broken away.
Decoration:   All surfaces slipped, soffit to 00.042 from face. Decorated in light-on-dark: soffit: red band W00.013. Face: fascia has maeander checkerboard H00.041; cyma: anthemion-palmette chain. 11-petal palmette, petals turning down with pointed ends, elongated spade-shaped heart with red center fired to brown, edge reserved. 5-petal anthemion with 3 sepals scratched into surface after firing. Tendril below making loop under anthemion. Reserved line beneath cavetto, on cavetto: egg-dart on red ground, darts, edges of eggs reserved, tongue reserved; fillet: bead-reel.
Material:   Coarse buff clay with inclusions.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving left end tile; missing part of fascia at right end and lower cyma.
