Description:   Fragments of lion mane preserving second and third rows of locks. B may preserve trace of face and scar of first row. Flame locks laid in at least three rows. Profile of all individual locks hand-cut with sharp instrument. Cyma-shaped locks of 2nd row doubly grooved, third row have deep interior groove cut with paring knife.
Decoration:   Surfaces slipped. Weak golden wash on locks.
Material:   Yellow-buff clay, coarse core with numerous fine black inclusions, fine slip of same.
Munsell Color:   Between 2.5Y 8/3 and 5Y 8/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving one row locks.
