Description:   Lionhead spout with raised round pupil, ridge for lower lid with row of slashes for eyelashes. Square muzzle with deep carelessly made holes for nostrils, 3-4 deep slashes for whiskers, no incision framing nostrils and joining with mouth. Front teeth not rendered in open mouth, large incisors, stumps of which missing. Does not belong to same series as other muzzles.
Material:   Moderately coarse clay with scattered fine inclusions, clay fired buff at surface, pink at core.
Munsell Color:   Slightly pinker than 10YR 7/4 (surface) 5YR 6/6 ;;;(core)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving muzzle. Surface discoloured.
