Description:   Tall rectangular block with base and crowning mouldings, from bottom up: fascia, cavetto, flattened quarter round, tall shaft H00.094; crown: cyma recta, tall fascia; mouldings worked on 3 faces; back roughly picked. Sides worked with oblique chisel strokes. Top roughly picked; no cuttings preserved. Front: traces of lettrers,erased with claw except for bottom quarter.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on front face, Greek:
PS(hphismata) B(oules) Two incised ivy leaves.
Material:   Fine white marble
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete, two joining frgts., missing large chip in face, lt. side, front left top corner, upper half of back missing. inscription erased except for last line; S. Dow, 5/25/60: reports traces of earlier erased inscription made when block reversed.
