Description:   Tall rectangular statue base. Back roughly picked with punch. Top worked with point. Shallow tenon hole Diam. 0.055 m, depth 0.036 m, set back 00.41+ from face. Second tenon hole near rt. Edge 0.25 from it. No evidence of feet.
Decoration:   At bottom, tall fascia, flattened half round, cyma recta, fillet; tall shaft; crowning moulding: fillet, flattened quarter round, cyma reversa, and fascia, poss. 2-stepped. Mouldings worked on three faces.
Writing:   inscribed. Seven lines of text in Greek inscribed on one face, over previously erased inscription (S. Dow, 5-25-60), letter H. 0.03 m.
Material:   Fine bluish marble.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete except for bottom moulding on left and right sides, back corners, much of back left edge; crowning moulding missing on all but part of front face.
