Description:   Rectangular block, front and two sides worked with claw chisel; top surface roughly picked with smooth relieving band along edges. In top, a square dowel 0.044 x 0.04+ x 0.051 m. deep, set in 0.184 m. from front face and 0.235 m. from lt. side.
Discussed whether it was part of an altar or of a statue base.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed on front face in Latin with parts of two lines.
Material:   Fine gray marble
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving top, front, left and right sides; bottom and back broken; edges damaged.
