Description:   Epistyle block with flat bearing surface worked with oblique strokes of point. On face, fascia H00.09, offset from remainder of surface which is lightly concave; face worked with claw chisel. Letters set 0.085 m. above offset.
Writing:   inscribed. Latin inscription, broken either end, letter H00.15: CAESAR[
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Original: single frgt., preserving bottom, broken other edges, back; add. Join gives more of surface.
