Description:   Mould for a female face. Thick hair surrounding face in herringbone pattern and gathered in knot with irregular grooves over forehead. Large pendant earrings. Oval face with indistinct facial features due to wear or recopying. Very broad neck. Similar to KH 28 (Deposit 3, cat. 30), KH 29 (Deposit 2, cat. 31), KH 30 (Deposit 4, cat. 31) and KH 32 (Deposit 4, cat. 33), as well as Fouilles de Delphes V, pl. 22, 4, Heuzey, Figurines antiques du Musee du Louvre, pl. 40, 4 and 5, and Winter, Typen I, p. 86, nos. 1-4. Handmade from two sheets of clay with model.
Decoration:   Undecorated.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare fine inclusions and rare very fine voids
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Three joining frgts, preserving all of mould except for small portion of back
Manufacture:   F01 F HM
Period:   4th c. B.C.
Chronology:   ca. 350-325 B.C. (Stillwell and Benson 1984, Corinth 15.3, p. 211)
