Description:   Terracotta mould for head of male comic actor. Long, narrow face, full head of short, smooth hair coming to peak in middle. Prominent, perhaps slightly waved brows, large eyes, high, prominent cheek bones, small nose, wide, nearly closed mouth with slight grin. Wide, shortish, somewhat pointed beard. Head (H. 0.028). Solid. Handmade from model. Similar to KH-42 (inv. 44, from same builidng, Deposit 4), KH-44 (inv. 46, from Deposit 3) (Stillwell 1948, Corinth 15.1). Mask H (MMC 3rd ed.).
Decoration:   Undecorated.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with very few rare sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact, mould slightly worn.
