Description: | Mould for a draped female figure standing with weight balanced. Right arm bend at elbow and holding dove, left arm slightly bent and holding round fruit. High polos over rounded crown of hair. Facial features indistinct. Wearing chiton with long overfold and himation with swallowtail folds at each side. Skirt closely pleated but very indistinct. Possibly made from a worn model. Indistinct features complicate assigning parallels, but possibly produced KT 4-42 to KT 4-55, although some of these may be from an earlier iteration in this series. | |
