Description:   Lamp with verticall ring foot, flat resting surface, rounded undersurface; squat globular body, rim, set well in from max. diam., with flat surface slanting slightly to large fill hole, flat floor. Large round-tipped nozzle with large wick hole just touching rim.
Decoration:   Front two-thirds of lamp dipped in black glaze. Over this, rim painted purple; two concentric purple rings on floor, purple outline around wick hole.
Material:   Fine buff clay with frequent voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., preserving complete profile except for large hole in body opposite nozzle; chip in nozzle. Trace of burning.
