Description:   Very thin inscribed bronze bowl, flat underneath. Shape similar to Cypriote bowl (Richter, Metrop. Mus. Bronze, cat. 613). Similar inscription under rim in Archaic Boeotion phiale (Eph. Arx. 1896, p. 243, fig. 1).
Writing:   inscribed. Single line in Greek, carefully inscribed under rim: tas Aphrodite emi
Material:   Bronze.
Condition:   Fragment. Several frgts., preserving part of bottom, walls, and rim. Rim edges bent slightly outward.
Period:   Archaic (7th-6th c.)
Chronology:   inscription dated by Jeffery between 500-475 BCE; majority of context 2nd half 6th c. to early 5th c. BCE
