Description:   Possible model kiln, consisting of semi-circular open-mouthed fire chamber, on which rests bottom of bowl, whose floor pierced with ten holes (Diam. 0.003 each). Bowl set back 0.012 from mouth of fire chamber. Whole rests on flat plinth which projects slightly from side of kiln.
Material:   Fine salmon-pink clay with rare fine white lime inclusions, a few voids, rare fine black, red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Missing parts. Single frgt., preserving most of plinth, complete fire chamber, base of kiln proper; plinth broken along front, right side. Edges of perforated top probably broken.
