Description:   Pinax with inscribed lines forming male leg (knee to toe) with shoe. Back of pinax smoothly finished.
Decoration:   Border on lower edge. Left leg of figure, striding right, painted black, with outline, ankle bone, and greave with double line at ankle incised. Behind leg painted letter, see p. 359b (Stillwell and Benson, Corinth 15.3).
Writing:   dipinto. Painted S to the left of leg on suface.
Material:   Very hard, light yellowish gray clay
Condition:   Fragment. Corner and two edges preserved. Black paint, mostly gone, leaving gray stain. A few orange-red smears.
Period:   Archaic (7th-6th c.)
Chronology:   not later than first quarter of 6th c. according to Corinth 15.3
