Description:   Thin pinax with inscribed decorations and paint. The style is rather poor, but from provenience it is unlikely to be later than Middle Corinthian. Part of figure preserved is very similar to one on an amphora in Philadelphia called EC by Payne (see Corinth 15.3, p. 243, for details). Left figure similar to KN-10 (Stillwell and Benson 1984, Corinth 15.3, cat. 1342).
Decoration:   Black and purple paint, edges painted purple. On one side: draped figure, left, with no incision. Skirt reserved with broad purple borders, continued to ground, and band down center. Feet and upper part of garment black. On other side: male figure walking right and perhaps bottom of draped figure. Male figure has garment to knees with wide lower border containing incised horizontal zigzag between double and single line.
Material:   Hard, yellowish gray clay
Condition:   Fragment. One corner, two edges, and both sides, with traces of paint, preserved.
Period:   Middle Corinthian (595/590-570)
