Description:   Small "skyphos" (identified in new publications as kotyle), wide concave body and broad ring with flat undersurface, except for molded ring around a convex central protrusion. 2 round horiz. Loop handles attached below rim.
Decoration:   Conventionalizing style. Brownish black and red paint. At rim, between red lines, lotus and bud chain with interlaced stems. ON body, red band between black bands, separated by single lines. Applied-red band on outer and inner edges of foot. Two thin black lines on undersurface. Horiz. zigzags on molded ring, dot and concentric lines in center of undersurface. Interior black. Stelai Shrine A Workshop (Risser 2001).
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay. No visible fabric

Condition:   Complete or intact. 2 frgts., preserving entire vessel. Paint slightly chipped.
