Description:   Plate with slightly warped rim. Rim everted at right angles, slightly concave toward thickened, horizontal lip. No foot. Floor slightly convex. Profile similar to KP-1041.
Decoration:   Conventionalizing style. Black and thin red slip, largely worn off. Black line on edge. Broken meander between lines on rim. At edge of floor, red band between black lines. In center, horse and rider, in silhouette on thin ground line. Rider and horse depicted with thin limbs and skewed perspective.
Attributes:   Horse & Rider.
Material:   Fine pale brown clay. Fabric not visible.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact vessel, missing 1 frgt. of rim. Slip badly worn. Nick in edge overpainted. Modern repair to rim.
