Description:   Deep body with broad, incurved rim; rather straight lower sides; ring foot.
Decoration:   Brownish black paint, fired orange brown near top on one side, and applied, dark purple paint. Frieze, bordered above by band, below by three narrower bands. On obverse, six female figures: first three missing above waist, figure, r., holding up wreath in both hands, two figures facing, holding wreath between them. Women have high poloi, long hair to knees, diagonally incised, and incised belts (two or three lines), sleeve borders (two or three lines), and neck and skirt-hem borders (two lines). Skirts divided into two panels by group of three incised lines.On reverse, panther, l., and panther, r., with hindlegs crossing. Concentric bands on bottom. Interior in solid color. Applied purple on cheek, upper body and skirt panels of female figures, and on neck of panthers, both sections of shoulder and belly of both panthers, ribs and haunch of r. panther and stripe on futher leg of l. panther. Thick filling ornaments of very large reosettes with many fine incisions and also spots and fitted blobs with incised crosses or single lines, and double lotiform blobs, some with incised cross in center. Condition:   Complete profile. Frgts. preserving most of body, base, and one handle.
