Decoration:   On the neck, a symposium. A reclining youth looks back right and reaches in that direction with his right hand; in his left hand he holds a black-glazed skyphos. Parts of another banqueter, and objects on the walls above the couches. Relief contours for youth's body and clothing; ouline of hair reserved. On edge of rim, simple meander; on neck above figure scene, enclosed palmettes. Similar in style to the Eucharides Painter.
Material:   Fine, reddish yellow clay with rare small white inclusions and rare voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. 26 frgts, some joining, of a volute krater. 5 volute frgts, 2 joining. 5 rim frgts, none joining. 16 body fragments, two sets of 2 joining, one set of 4 joining. Slip flaking in places.
