Description:   Pyxis with flat bottom projecting beyond body with rounded edge, cylindrical body. Lid: cylindrical body with rounded border at lower edge, projecting moulding at juncture to top; top flat with small flat-topped boss in center, convex.
Decoration:   Pyxis: black on edge of base, edge of rim; black band around center of sides. Lid: top: boss black, red band between boss and raised band with black spots, black wreath with opposed slanting leaves, bordered inside by black line, outside by two black lines and red band; edge moulding black; sides of lid: row of alternating groups of five vertical wavy lines and vertical oblongs with wavy edges, alternately black and red, between red, black lines; lower moulded border red.
Material:   Hard light brown clay.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete.
