Description:   Oinochoe with slightly flaring ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Tall ovoid body with max. diam. (H. 0.126-0.13), rounded shoulder; tall cylindrical neck with projecting ring at mid height, wide flaring trefoil rim. Vertical strap handle from shoulder to lip.
Decoration:   Foot and lower fourth of body black glazed; rest reserved with 3 broad bands, 3 circumference lines and 3rd broad band; frieze on shoulder with hybrid animals: double snake r., ending in blunt tail (phallos?) with snake head with forked tongue and bearded male head, and with short legs; forepart of hedgehog left, with spines on back and ending in curled-under phallos, with curled tail attached to back; animal r. with griifin head, upper human body with extended arms, wings of flying bird and ending in foot-like object r. on ground line, with two blunt protuberances above; combination of running rabbit l. with sickle wing, and dolphin right; lower body of ithyphallic crouching figure right with feline forepaws in crouching position and reverted head of goat. Lower half of neck reserved; ring and upper half black glazed, continuing onto rim, handle back.

Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving complete profile; 3/4 foot, 1/2 lower half of body, most of upper half with shoulder, all of neck, half rim, upper half of handle; glaze partly worn. RIP.
