Description:   Small "skyphos" (identified in new publications as kotyle) with broad convex shape, wide ring foot, concave undersurface with a flat molded band and interior boss. Two horizontal round loop handles attached to body.
Decoration:   Conventionalizing style. At rim, alternating triangles between purple and black lines. On body, alternating black and brown bands interspersed with black lines. Center of handles black. Black on outer edge of foot, concentric lines and dots on undersurface of foot. Brown band along interior of rim, solid black interior below rim. Stelai Shrine A Workshop (Risser 2001).
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay. No visible inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Many frgts., preserving entire vessel. Reassembled. Slip worn in many places, added paint heavily worn.
