Description:   Kotyle has a very small ring foot with narrow resting surface. Sides widely flaring.
Decoration:   Black paint, mostly worn off, leaving light brown stain. On sides alternating black and reserved bands, widening towards top. In upper preserved band, feet of small animals, r. outer and inner edges of base black. Interior painted. Concentric line on bottom and dot in center.
Material:   pale buff clay

Condition:   Fragment. base and about half of lower body preserved

Period:   Protocorinthian (720-630)
Chronology:   Middle Proto-Corinthian I, no later than 1st quarter of 7th c., according to Benson
