Description:   Small "skyphos" (identified in new publications as kotyle, rather broad convex body. 2 round horizontal loop handle attached below rim. False ring foot, on undersurface flat molded ring with a concave protrusion at center.
Decoration:   Conventionalizing style. Black and brown paint. At rim, deep horiz. zigzag with small triangle in each space, bordered by black lines. Below, alternating black and brown lines. Solid black interior of cup. Buff exterior foot, undersurface with black zigzag along molded ring and black circle surrounding central protrusion. Stelai Shrine A Workshop (Risser 2001).
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay. No visible fabric.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. 4 frgts., preserving the complete vessel except small portion of 1 handle and rim. Paint worn in places.
