Description:   Low conical lid with high, inset flange with squared lip. Tall conical shank swelling at center. Flaring knob with flat top.
Decoration:   Black glaze fired brownish and applied purple. Three thick brown rings on knob, shank brown, broad brown stripe and narrow brown stripe on top of lid, wide purple stripe, then narrow and thick brown stripes above lip.
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts preserving all but 1/4 of rim. Chips from rim, knob, and flang. Glaze flaking.
