Description:   Thymiaterion/inscence burner stand. Very high stem, tapering toward top, with four sharp, disk like ridges and two convex bulges. Foot very broad with slightly sloping upper surface and two projecting ridges at edge. Rather irregular hollwo underneath, extending into stem.
Decoration:   Conventionalizing style. Interior of bowl unpainted. Black and red bands of varying widths on stem. On top of foot, continuous meander with narrow hook meander and two black lines below. Two rows of dots on upper ridge of foot. Black band between ridges.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay. No visible inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown).
Condition:   Complete or intact. Two frgts., preserving intact vessel except for single piece from foot.
