Description:   Cotyle with flaring side, curving inwards at rim, small ring foot.
Decoration:   Black figure style. Wide animal frieze bordered by one band above and below: on either side a large swan, l., and a goat, r. Rays at base. Inner and outer edges of foot painted. Undersurface with two concentrich circles around a central dot. Interior painted solid except for a reseved line at lip. Filling ornaments: large spoked rosettes, small and large rosettes with cross incisions. Brownish paint, applied purple.
Material:   Hard buff clay. Rare rounded inclusions, rare rounded voids.
Munsell Color:   surface: 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown): core: 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink)
Condition:   Missing parts. Missing one handle, half rim, mostly of one side, fragments from the other side. Partly restored.
