Description: | Figurine of a partially draped male youth reclining on left side on a kline and supporting weight on left elbow, which rests on a round cushion; left arm bent and holding cup or phiale, right arm resting on right thigh. Figure has close-cropped hair and no beard, bare chest and himation draped around waist. Drapery falls from left shoulder to cross over left arm and lies in three folds over legs. Hollow. Features somewhat indistinct due to worn mold. Of same type (and likely same mold) as KT 19-20, 19-21 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, inv. XIV, 7), 19-22, 19-23, 19-25, 19-26 and 19-27. A mold of this type, KH 57, was found in Deposit 3. | |
