Description: | Handmade horse and rider figurine; horse stands with weight evenly distributed across all legs, with thick triangular tail held at an upward angle. The horse's muzzle is narrow with the head swelling towards the eyes; the horse's ears are not distinguished from the prominent and projecting forelock of the mane. The rider's hands attach to the horse's neck just behind the head and are very flat and broad. Similar to KT 28-135, KT 28-136, and KT 28-137 from the same deposit and KT 28-126 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, inv. XXIII, 33) from Deposit 2. | |

The horse's muzzle is narrow with the head swelling towards the eyes; the horse's ears are not distinguished from the prominent and projecting forelock of the mane. The rider's hands attach to the horse's neck just behind the head and are very flat and broad, as are the feet. The rider has a disk face and a thick polos. Similar to KT 28-135, KT 28-137and KT 28-138 from the same deposit and KT 28-126 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, inv. XXIII, 33) from Deposit 2. | ||
