Description:   Handmade horse and rider figurine; horse stands with spread legs, with thick tail held at an upward angle. The rider has a plain disk face and a thick applied polos. His flat, broad hands attach to the base of the horse's neck and his legs are short and broad. Similar to KT 28-140, KT 28-142, and KT 28-143 from the same deposit and KT 28-139 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, inv. XXIII, 35) from Deposit 2 (Stillwell says Deposit 1, but the notebook reference confirms Deposit 2).
Decoration:   Traces of white slip over all, traces of yellow pigment on horse, red pigment on rider and horse's neck.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with rare fine inclusions and rare fine voids
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Missing parts. Six joining fragments preserving all of rider except right arm and 60% of horse, missing horse's head and forelegs, as well as most of the right hind leg; white slip and pigment poorly preserved
