Description: | Handmade horse and rider figurine; horse stands with spread legs, with thick tail held at an upward angle. The rider has a plain disk face and a thick applied polos. His flat, broad hands attach to the base of the horse's neck and his legs are short and broad. Similar to KT 28-140, KT 28-142, and KT 28-143 from the same deposit and KT 28-139 (Stillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, inv. XXIII, 35) from Deposit 2 (Stillwell says Deposit 1, but the notebook reference confirms Deposit 2). | |
